Founded in 2002, the goal of Vista Autism Services is to provide a variety of high-quality autism services to individuals with autism and their families. Vista programs are the product of the collaborative efforts of parents, educators, and professionals, all dedicated to bringing high-quality educational and behavioral services to Central Pennsylvania’s autism population.
Vista provides Educationally Integrated Behavioral Services to students enrolled at The Vista School. Through Vista Outreach Services, Vista also provides direct and consultative services to assist public school districts and private schools with the education and treatment of students with autism. In 2014, we launched Vista Adult Services, a provider of training, employment, and behavior support services for adults with autism. Our Early Intervention program for young children newly diagnosed with autism was started in 2017.
Vista serves individuals who have moderate to severe autism symptoms. Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), a data-driven and evidence-based approach to the treatment of autism symptoms, Vista's team of specialists develops an individualized treatment plan to help each individual reach his or her unique potential. With the addition of the EI program, Vista was the first organization in Central Pennsylvania to provide comprehensive educational, behavioral health, and other support services from the time of the child's autism diagnosis, through the school years, and throughout the individual's adult life.
