The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is the lead U.S. Government agency that works to end extreme global poverty and enable resilient, democratic societies to realize their potential. The Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) is located within USAID’s Bureau for Conflict Prevention and Stabilization (CPS), and assists countries experiencing complex political crises, including political transitions and conflict.
