At the Sanctions Monitoring Board (“SMB”), we are dedicated to enforcing international sanctions of the United Nations Security Council, the Council of the European Union, and National sanctions in accordance with the National Interest (Enabling Powers) Act. Our responsibilities include proposing the listing and delisting of individuals and entities, reviewing delisting applications, and authorising access to frozen assets. The SMB plays a pivotal role in upholding sanctions compliance, providing essential guidance and issuing necessary rulings to assist economic operators.
