The Stemm Factor

The STEMM-Factor (tSF) is a dream project that has been initiated by four young STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medical) enthusiasts. Being Female wannabe scientists form tier-two cities, we have encountered numerous incidents of self-doubts, lack of information, missed opportunities, peer-pressured decision making process, narrowed mindset, etcetera. Over the last few years, on our initial journeys of carving our career paths, we realized there are a plenty of career options in STEMM other than being a Doctor, Engineer, School teacher or a Professor. But students are not well-versed with these. We at tSF, are thriving to build a community of students, teachers, professionals and industry experts to ensure an effective communication and channelization of resources between STEMM learners and practitioners. Our idea is to inform and aware young minds about the plethora of opportunities that are available in the world around them so that they can make better, informed decisions and do justice with their career related aspirations. Within 60 days of existence, tSF has attracted a follower base of 300 individuals and 20+ volunteers who are investing their time and efforts in the organization. At present, The STEMM-Factor is incubated under VigyanShaala International as a budding organization. With complete dedication and perseverance, we are slowly and steadily heading towards our ultimate goal.
