Founded in 1960 by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, The Planning Forum is one of the premier student run bodies at St. Stephen's College, that focuses on engaging the student community with discussions, simulations, and conferences that pertain to strategy, policy, and governance. Diverse issues of topical interest, ranging from Politics to International Relations, are taken up for discussion and discourse. Our speakers are chosen keeping in mind the unique academic experience the society seeks to create.
The Planning Forum hosts the annual St. Stephen's Model United Nations conference and is also heavily involved with several other fronts such as Social Entrepreneurship. It also represents the institution as part of the global Enactus framework.
