About
The Advocacy Project helps marginalized communities to tell their story, claim their rights and produce social change. We recruit graduate students to volunteer as Peace Fellows with partners to help give voice to the voiceless. We believe strongly that change must start with those who are directly affected by abuse. AP recruits graduate students (Peace Fellows) to help partners develop information tools and launch campaigns. AP partners can expect to produce information, and develop a network, within as little as three months. More often than not, they will then take action and claim their rights. This, to AP, is the start of social change.
