Talbot House Children'S Charity

Talbot House Children's Charity Limited is situated in the North East of England and comprises a special educational needs school and a residential care home for children. The Charity provides a positive alternative for children and young adults who have had difficulties in mainstream provision. These young people are at a higher level of risk emotionally and/or physically. They can also be experiencing educational and social exclusion. Talbot House Children's Charity aims to help young people with complex needs to bridge the transition into adult life and have opportunities to flourish in society, with confidence. Enhancing self-esteem and providing a nurturing approach are fundamental principles at Talbot House and require sensitivity and non-rejection as a cornerstone. They are fully embraced by an expert team in place, who strive to develop positive outcomes for young people in their care. Talbot House is a registered children's charity, which provides a nurturing and supportive environment for children and young people with complex needs.
