Skills Impact is a not-for-profit, industry-owned organisation that collaborates with industry, government and training providers on skills opportunities and challenges.
Between 2016 and 2022, Skills Impact held a Skills Service Organisation (SSO) role to review and develop learning and skills standards for industry. In 2023, we established Skills Insight to manage one of ten Jobs and Skills Councils, to represent industry sectors including agribusiness, ecosystem and biosecurity management, animal care and management, racing and breeding, forestry, wood and timber products pulp and paper, landscaping, fishing and aquaculture, meat and seafood processing, furnishing, fibre, clothing and footwear.
Skills Impact, and its predecessors, have been supporting industries to develop the skills of their workforce for nearly 30 years and are excited to have a role in the new system through Skills Insight.
