Shiksha Nidhi Education For Girls

Shiksha Nidhi is a Non Profit Organization (501(c)3 with Internal Revenue Code (EIN: 88-1901998)) with missions to create awareness and to make investment in unprivileged girls' education. The gender disparity in education is well noted and documented across the World. These gaps are closed in the last few decades, but the challenges remain untouched in rural part of India, where girls are seen as a household help to raise the family. Girl educations are not seen as a priority for these families due to financial limitation and social beliefs. Your donation provides tuition and transportation support to the girls in middle and high school. Most of the underprivileged girls are living 3-5 miles from the schools with no means of public and private transportation to reach schools. The financial assistance will cover yearly tuition expense and a bicycle to ensure access to school.
