Sea Smart

Sea Smart is a Canadian charity that has empowered over 700,000 people in over 25 countries to become ocean heroes in only five years. Through innovative action-oriented and solutions-based education programs, we empower people to take action to protect our blue planet and to spread their knowledge to power ripples of change around the world. Dr. Elaine Leung, the founder of Sea Smart, is a marine biologist that over her 15+ years studied all forms of marine life for different governments, universities, and NGOs. Inspired by her love for the ocean, she founded Sea Smart to share her passion by teaching about ocean issues and the roles individuals can play in the protection and sustainable use of our planet. Sea Smart delivers exciting, online programs, corporate programs, hands-on school workshops, after-school programs, and summer camps for kids from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
