Ontario Engineering Competition 2023

The Ontario Engineering Competition (OEC) is an annual event where engineering students from various universities across Ontario gather to participate in various competitions, networking events and engage in other learning opportunities. Participants are provided with a unique and challenging problem statement in one of eight competitions which require students to use their creative and technical skills to develop a solution to present to the judges. Participating competitors at OEC are undergraduate engineering students that have placed first in their institution's qualifying competition. These first-place teams will be representing their institutions at the Ontario Engineering Competition with the goal of advancing to the Canadian Engineering Competition. Western University will be hosting OEC 2023.
