The Nigerian Industrial Pharmacy Undergraduate Fellowship (NIPUF) is a 6-month biannual fellowship that aims to build a community of Nigerian pharmacy undergraduates who desire a career in Industrial Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Industry and equip them with skills and competencies that are industry relevant and most sought-for.
The focus/priority areas of this fellowship, in a bid to make the Industrial Pharmacy profession more attractive to Nigerian pharmacy students, will be to:
a. Provide mentorship (from industrial pharmacists), peer support and career development opportunities for members.
b. Provide educational grants, travel grants for local events and conferences, and access to high-level industry events, leaders and experts.
c. Carry out industrial visits to different pharmaceutical companies in Nigeria.
d. Build the critical thinking and research capacity of members to enable them carry out evidence-based research focused on Industrial Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Industry, in order to support policy advocacy and implementation.
