Metro Montessori

Metro Montessori is an association of independent Montessori schools, teacher training programs and related educational services. All of our member schools are committed to the highest standards of professional excellence. Since opening our first school in 1977, Metro Montessori has grown into an organization representing 5 AMS accredited Montessori schools, and 1 AMI recognized Montessori school: both designations indicate that our schools meet or exceed the most exacting standards of Montessori pedagogy. Each sister school has its own unique culture and feel, having grown out of the needs of the surrounding community. Dr. Maria Montessori said, "Education is an aide to life and should be the source of joy." We embrace this belief. Our staff is dedicated to providing a traditional Montessori education that supports the young child’s social, emotional, intellectual and academic growth.
