London College of Legal Studies LCLS (SOUTH) was established in August 2004 with an aim of providing highest quality education /tuition for students who are unable to afford studying in U.K universities and also to qualify as Barristers of the English and Welsh Bar. The board of management is lead by some eminent lawyers and dignitaries of the country comprising Mr. Abdul Hamid Chowdhury, the Principal, Barrister Khaled Hamid Chowdhury, the Head of Laws and Shahariar Sadat – the Course Coordinator. Moreover, LCLS also has a strong advisory council made up of Emeritus Professor Philip Thomas - Cardiff University, UK acting as the academic consultant and other judges, leading academicians, lawyers and prominent jurists who constantly give their valuable suggestions for improvement and development of the Academy.
Over the past few years, the institute has gained a huge amount of popularity and has been classified as one of the best English law tuition providers of the country mainly because of its location at the heart of the capital city, Dhaka, the wide variety of courses that it offers at reasonable fees, outstanding success rate in A-Level, Diploma-in-Law (University of London, External System) and LLB (Hons) examinations (London and Northumbria University, External System and Open Learning respectively), the experienced teachers in the management with a blend of young and brilliant faculty members and the sincerest efforts of the administration.
