Leila Day Nurseries

Leila Day Nurseries, Inc. is a nationally accredited early childhood education program that offers a stimulating and creative environment for young children to explore, learn and grow. Founded in 1878, it is the nation’s second oldest continuously operating child care center with a long-standing commitment to enroll children of working families from diverse economic and cultural backgrounds. It has been recognized as a model for quality child care by the Connecticut State Department of Education. Our program offers full day preschool and kindergarten, half day morning program, and an after school program grades K-5.
