Lums Literary Society

LUMS Literary Society (LLS) is one of the largest and most valued societies within this institution, catering approximately 30% of entire student body (which currently numbers around 5000). Since its inception, team of LLS has put its endless efforts into the appreciation and recognition of literary masterpieces of students. LLS, through its events, workshops, and random activities, promotes literary and cultural aspects of region. LLS provides a first of its kind platform to the students to identify and express their hidden abilities. LUMS Literary Society (LLS) strives for the promotion of literature at LUMS by providing the student body a platform to learn from renowned literary figures by hosting a multitude of events each year like two-day Literature Festival, one-day All Pakistan Creative and Aspiring Writers Convention, conferences, workshops, guest lectures and other similar proceedings like writing competitions, reading circles, Qawwali Nights, Mushaira, Sham-e-Ghazal, and short movies. LLS believe in promoting literature in its truest essence and soul.
