MISSION ICPlatform
"improving the work & living environment for the (international) employees and families
in The Hague and surrounding municipalities and thereby, the working environment for employers themselves."
The International Community Platform (ICP) was founded in the context of the international ambitions of the Greater The Hague whereby the top 20 international employers realized that by joining forces they can achieve more in finding solutions to the challenges they have in common.
Their shared challenges relate to the topics of recruiting and retaining high potential employees due to the increasing importance of 'soft factors' in the decision making of the next career step. These so called 'soft factors' are subjects of the living and working environment of the employee and their families and include the following: housing, education, healthcare, childcare, labor mobility for partners, public transport etc.
In the past the 1:1 approach with public and private parties has proven less effective. The ICP works together through an alignment process to find their common issues and solutions and speak out with one voice to the local public and private service providers.
ICP helps build the bridge between international demand and local supply in the Greater The Hague region.
