The Institute of Technology and Academics (ITA) is a private not-for-profit school participating in the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program (MPCP). We have established a highly qualified and caring leadership and staff, we have acquired resources to equip our staff to be able to work efficiently and at their best capability. ITA was founded in 2007 with the mission of providing exceptional 21st Century educational opportunities for our low income families and equitable opportunities to succeed. These families come from not just our immediate community but also the city of Milwaukee. Our doors are open to all families who are looking for a positive change in their children's education, but we do not we do not stop there. We want to improve their opportunities across the board to ensure a better life overall for them, their families and the overall community. ITA's vision centers around it's creed that "Success is the Only Option". This is based on the belief that no obstacle can present itself which will get in the way to making sure our students achieve. We do not believe that poverty is an excuse. This extends to our expectations of our staff as well, in that we hold ourselves to the highest standards and believe that “Success is the Only Option” for all of our personnel as well. Our students tackle very complex and inequitable barriers before their birth that follow them throughout their lives. ITA’s main goal is to address and resolve these inequities by strengthening our students by providing them with opportunities to succeed and to be a productive citizen of the community.
