International Association of Contact Lens Educators An industry-supported association that links contact lens educators around the world. It support education excellence, provides and/or creates educator resources, runs train-the-trainer programmes internationally, and holds Fellowship examinations ever 2 years. The latter is the only international accreditation scheme for CL educators in existence. It was first held in 1996.
