Our overall aim is to prevent homelessness in Chelmsford and its environs within Essex by providing support to low-income households to maintain tenancies and find accommodation to enable their wellbeing.

We have a vision of a country free from homelessness, where everyone can find accommodation and maintain tenancies to enable their wellbeing.
OUR MISSION
To provide tenancy sustainment to low-income households and supported housing accommodation to single homeless adults.
Our AIMS
Homelessness Prevention:
To negotiate payment arrangements that are realistic.
To support service-users to claim Welfare Benefits and when necessary have existing claims reassessed.
Should negotiations with landlords fail, to support service-users throughout the court processes.
To support service-users to find temporary and permanent accommodations and assist them to rebuild their lives again.
To liaise with councils, charities, churches and other national and local bodies/groups to support individuals and families.
To work in collaboration with other service providers to implement and run tenancy sustainment programmes to prevent loss of tenancies.
Supported Accommodation:
To provide supported housing accommodation to single homeless adults who are willing to engage in a tailored support plan with the aim of moving on to independent living within a period of 24 months or less.
Financial Inclusion:
To signpost to Financial Inclusion services where service-users can be supported to become financially independent by maximising their household incomes through financial accesses and debt management plans.
Employment, Training and Education:
To work in collaboration with other service providers and the DWP to enrol our service-users on academic and training courses, apprenticeships and back-to-work programmes.
To provide support with CV writing, job searches, interviewing skills training and jobs applications.
