A global UN program set up for senior high school students
What is MUN?
Created before World War II in the United States to engage young people in today’s current issues and to raise their awareness of the world, Model UN is a global UN program for senior high school students that gives them the chance to organize and participate in a simulated UN conference.
How does it happen?
Students pose as diplomats in real face to face conferences taking place in Geneva's international organisations;
Students take on role as diplomats, research a country, investigate international issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop solutions to world problems.
An enthusiastic atmosphere spread:
Run by students, the conferences’ atmosphere is always enthusiastic and animated. From disarmament or health to agriculture or human rights, delegates find a wide range of themes in which they are actively involved.
