The Desautels Management Competition Committee has the mission of ensuring and enhancing the competitiveness of the Desautels and MUS case competitions program, through recruitment, selection, extensive training, and continued support of Desautels Case Competitors.
The core role of the DMCC is ensuring the proper preparation of all External Case Competitors through running training program Case League, organizing internal case competitions, creating and updating of case training manuals, and sourcing qualified and experienced coaches and judges.
The DMCC is also responsible for increasing awareness of the Desautels case program, in order to further develop Desautels undergraduate student interest and involvement in case training and competition, as well as assessing the post-training preparedness of potential competitors, in order to best select competition teams and ensure the strongest possible showing at External Case Competitions.
The DMCC offers case involvement opportunities for every level of case experience, from Introduction to Case Programs to Case Masters Classes facilitated by DMCC alumni. Through the DMCC, Desautels undergraduate students will be offered the chance to enhance their case knowledge and abilities, and compete against their peers both at Desautels and in the International Case Community.
