The Department of Mathematical Sciences acquired the status of a full-fledged department in 2021 to offer programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The department is vigorously engaged to cater to the needs of other departments of the Institute by offering courses in Mathematics and Statistics. The vision of the department is to create and maintain a culture of excellence in teaching and research by imparting comprehensive learning supported by opportunities to demonstrate it. The Department stands firm on its belief of delivering excellence across the domain of teaching and research. By virtue of collective efforts of all the faculty members, the department intends to flourish as one of the most prestigious departments and thereby attract budding talent in the field of Mathematics and Statistics.
