Physiotherapy as a profession has grown by leaps and bounds over the last few decades. It has spread its wings in all branches of medical sciences, be it orthopaedics, neurology, cardiology, pulmonary conditions, intensive care units, obesity, sports medicine, surgery, medicine, burns, cancer, community health.With blessings from honourable founder chancellor Pad. Dr. DY Patil and under the able guidance of our young and dynamic President Shri. Vijay D. Patil, The Department of Physiotherapy, is oriented towards promoting growth in quality education and health services. It aims towards the goal of distinguishing itself qualitatively and quantitatively in terms of faculty, student body, achievements of alumni, course contents, infrastructure in terms of modern equipment, library, clinical materials, and the research outputs. We are proud to have started post graduate and PhD programs in physiotherapy and BSC exercise science under the department of physiotherapy, which is blooming in full swing.
