CCSI provides advice and training to governments, companies or international organizations on all compliance issues that emerge from international sanctions regimes, asset freezes and other economic measures, arms embargoes and cross-border transportation issues related to embargo restrictions.
CCSI initiates international dialogues and research processes designed to enhance sanctions implementation strategies, and the system-wide adaptation of due process principles.
The partners and collaborators of CCSI assist those in governments or corporations with responsibilities to ensure full sanctions compliance by designing system-wide implementation mechanisms, starting with reviews of laws, regulations or policies to identify possible gaps that might enable violations.
CCSI operates a publishing arm for books, primers, conference materials, articles, or opinion pieces covering a wide variety of sanctions relevant topics, such as international terrorism, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the application of appropriate due diligence procedures to prevent the trade in illicit raw materials, to contribute towards gross violations of human rights, the rights of children, or to assist in preventing sexual and gender based-violence.
