The Commerce Students Society is the official faculty based student club which ultimately serves to bridge the gaps between the student body, commercial industry and the academic framework of Melbourne University.
The Commerce Students’ Society’s aim is to provide students with an environment to socialise among their peers and potential employers, to learn about and be exposed to industries interested in Commerce graduates, and to voice communications to the Faculty and Dean.
Our purpose is to offer events and opportunities conducive to networking, employment and of equal importance, fun. The Commerce Students’ Society fosters happy, productive, aware students, who realise their potential and grasp responsibility. Our concern in the standard and presentation of the academic curriculum reflects suggestions and criticisms of the students themselves. Our interest in service industries and product companies convey the curiosity of students who want choices.
Corporate and Faculty involvement avails many opportunities previously denied, whilst spreading product knowledge and preference. This financial support offers superior functions and the chance for companies to establish themselves in the forefront of the minds of potential value-adding employees.
