Ghislieri Hall of Residence, situated in Pavia, is under the High Patronage of the President of the Republic. It was founded in 1567 by Pope St. Pius V and enlarged by the addition of the female wing in 1965.
Those candidates wishing to enter the Hall (that is reserved for university students studying in Pavia) must first pass an open competitive examination designed to test their aptitude.
Undergraduates may also have the possibility of qualifying for a free place.
