Colegio Franklin Delano Roosevelt is and was founded on the 3rd of December 1946 by American residents in Peru. It is a sectarian, non-profit, private day school supported by student tuition and fees. The program is co-educational, non-residential and extends from Early Childhood (age 3) through High School (12th grade). The school is governed by a 12-member Board of Directors representing the Instituto Educacional Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The American School of Lima is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Peruvian Ministry of Education.

Enrollment:
The total school enrollment is 1,591. Students come from 42 countries, with approximately 21% from North America, 23% from other countries and 56% from Peru.
Faculty and Administration
There are 265 faculty members: 181 Peruvian citizens, 66 United States citizens and 18 citizens of other nations. Specialists are employed in such areas as Reading, Guidance, English as an Additional Language (EAL), and Learning Support Program. Professional development for faculty is available through in-house workshops, regional conferences, university extension courses and summer study grants. We can't wait to work with you.
