Careers Hub Cornwall & Isles Of Scilly

The Careers Hub CIoS is a national scheme that links volunteers from the local business community with schools and colleges to help bridge the gap between education and employment. The aim is to help young people make more informed choices about their future careers and ensure that employers are getting the skills they need from the workforce of tomorrow. This is achieved through our Enterprise Advisers supporting the schools at a strategic level to ensure that young people have meaningful, quality engagements with the world of work. The Local Enterprise Partnership is co-funding the project in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly with the national Careers & Enterprise Company, an employer-led organisation set up to inspire and prepare young people for the world of work.
