CASE is one of the very few institutions in the country promoting human resource development in the area of behind the scene technology, which is making today's information revolution possible. By providing Graduate(Masters)'s and Ph.D level engineering education, CASE aims to redress the imbalance in today's information technology scene, where too much emphasis is placed on only the software side, while engineering aspects of information technology are ignored. This is mainly due to lack of experienced faculty members that Graduate(Masters)'s or Ph.D. programs in advanced areas of IT dealing with engineering aspects are non-existent in most IT institutions.
With the new technologies emerging at a faster pace, the technology gap between the developing and the developed nations of the world continues to widen at an alarming rate. A major reason for this widening gap is the lack of skilled engineers/technologists capable of integrating new technologies into existing systems and networks.
The mandate of the CASE is to bridge this technological gap by educating engineers with the ability to plan, execute, and manage the latest technologies. A strong curriculum, in each of the Computer Engineering and Engineering Management fields of study, is offered by highly qualified engineering faculty including 12 Ph.Ds and 8 M.Scs with reputable accomplishments in research, academic publications and industrial projects.
