CAPS- Centre for Academic and Professional Support at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) is an open platform that attempts to bridge the gap between classroom based theoretical learning and career-based applicable knowledge.
At an individual level, CAPS helps one attain greater proficiencies and be competent in spheres related to academic and professional activities, through support in a wide array of topics ranging from research to career readiness. It is also an opportunity for one to develop their networking skills and understand industry expectations through interaction based university wide sessions.
At the organisational level, it creates a platform for all the deaneries which promote a cross fertilisation of ideas and knowledge to optimally utilise the university’s resources.
At the societal level, CAPS aims to create holistically developed individuals, equipped with the appropriate skills that enable them to make a difference.
This process is facilitated by the five wings and five committees at CAPS which work in tandem to do so.
