Brewer High School is a comprehensive high school of approximately 750 students from the City of Brewer and surrounding towns in grades nine through twelve. Nestled in the heart of Eastern Maine, Brewer is a school large enough to offer a wide variety of programs and extracurricular activities, but is small enough to personalize the high school experience for each student.
Our highly qualified faculty and staff work diligently to provide students with many opportunities and programs to challenge themselves to grow and develop not only academically but also socially and civically. Academic offerings include AP courses, the Honors Diploma Program, early college courses, internships, and career and technology education through our partnership with the United Technologies Center. In addition, students are provided with opportunities to develop their leadership skills through our partnerships with Jobs for Maine Graduates and the Air Force through JROTC.
Every Brewer High School freshman is provided with a team of teachers dedicated to ensuring that the transition from middle school to high school is smooth and successful. This programming includes freshman seminars, academic study halls with team teachers and a one-to-one laptop deployment program.
