Apna School

Apna School, initiative is to provide alternative to the poor government schools and expensive private schools. Our aim is to make holistic development of the children by imparting modern and moral education which is lacking in the education provided by both government and private schools. We are trying to bring best practices in the world to give quality education. We want that a common man should be free from the burden of expensive education, and it should be approachable to the masses. Our estimate shows that holistic development of the students through education is possible in less than one third of the expenses incurred in the private schools. The parents also no need to worry about any additional coaching (e.g., IIT JEE/Medical entrance exam) with no significant additional burden. Also, we wish that all stakeholders including investors, parents, students, teachers, staff, and society should feel that this is their school i.e., “Apna School”. In this direction, we are trying to pilot our first school in Bokaro, Jharkhand. A group of like-minded people from diverse background have come forward to this initiative. We have been able to arrange the requisite fund in INR 4.5 Cr through macro (INR 25L) and micro (INR 5L) investors. Currently we have acquired approx. 2-acre land and in the process of acquiring 1 more acre of land which is expected to complete by March 2022. We are expected the school to start from year 2023. In addition, we are also planning to open “Apna Hospital” attached to each “Apna School” to provide affordable quality medical treatment.
