Accademia Costume & Moda (ACM) has a long tradition in educating professionals for both the Fashion and Entertainment Industries in the areas of Design, Communication and Management, qualifying itself as a centre of excellence for its didactic method. Founded in Rome by Rosana Pistolese in 1964, ACM is dedicated to servicing the Fashion System and Entertainment industries with adept professionals, ready to respond to industry needs. The Accademia Alumni network is vast and comprehends figures such as Creative Directors, Head and Senior designers, Product Managers, Fashion Editors, Stylists and Costume Designers, in Italy and abroad.
As a live laboratory for ideas and research, ACM serves as a cultural link for fashion and costume education, attracting businesses and cultural connoisseurs alike. The average placement ratio for the last 7 academic years has been around 93% of the total student population.
ACM is also in Milan since 2020, and now expanding in Rome with a new 6ksqm campus in the heart of the Esquilino district.
