The Tech4Dev initiative is a group of software firms , ecosystem partners, and funders, initiated by a tech entrepreneur and philanthropist (Donald Lobo) and supported by his private family foundation - The Chintu Gudiya Foundation. This initiative enables organizations to bring technology to the core of program design and implementation by
1. Providing customized technology solutions to NGOs, at a cost more reasonable than that offered by full-fledged software firms not a part of the initiative.
2. Developing open source solutions that are then made freely available for everyone to access, use, and build on. These solutions can be reused and shared across multiple NGOs, and contribute to improving existing solutions.
3. Creating an ecosystem of software firms and supporting them in developing products targeted specifically for the development sector.
