Society for Women's Action and Training Initiative is a feminist organisation that is committed to gender equality and socio-economic empowerment of women. Ending violence against women (VaW) is a primary objective and SWATI works at all levels in multiple ways to combat it. SWATI is currently working on six community initiatives and two pilot initiatives. Community initiatives are - 1) Mahila Nyay Panchayats (MNP) 2) Swa-Bhoomi Kendras 3) Nidhi 4) Parivartan Panchhi 5) Khushali 6) Mahila Adhikar Sahayata Kendra Two pilot initiatives are: 1) Making Rural Health Sector responsive to VaW 2) kNOw fear - Making Rural Public Spaces Safe for Women and Girls
