Cluster of Life Sciences of the Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia - Italy Il Cluster Scienze della Vita del Friuli Venezia Giulia ha come obiettivo la promozione del dialogo e della collaborazione tra enti ed istituzioni della Regione per incoraggiare lo sviluppo e l’innovazione nel settore scienze della vita. Le realtà che partecipano al Cluster sono numerose e comprendono istituti di ricerca, aziende sanitarie, istituti di ricovero, realtà del terzo settore, università, imprese nel settore farmaceutico – medicale. Tutte realtà operanti nell’ambito scienze della vita in regione che, grazie all’esperienza sul campo e alla ricerca, possono contribuire a portare innovazione. Ente gestore del Cluster è il Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico "Andrea Galvani" s.c.p.a. individuato dalla Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia, nella seduta della Giunta del 2 luglio 2021. The Life Science Cluster of Friuli Venezia Giulia is an organization established by regional Law and managed by the Upper Adriatic Technologic Park that aims to foster the development of a dynamic and competitive life science ecosystem in the Italian region Friuli Venezia Giulia. The Life Science Cluster plays a leading role in building a bridge between the regional industrial and research sectors by promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, business opportunities and by building relationships between all the actors involved in the regional life science sector. These purposes are accomplished through a series of activities that include support to startups and established companies in access to funding, mentoring, networking, support of tech transfer, promotion of inter-regional and international cooperation, mapping of competencies and infrastructures, set up of and implementation of targeted training programs. The Life Science Cluster of Friuli Venezia Giulia works closely with reference National Cluster Organizations and with regional institutions.
