Housing Authority of the County of DeKalb manages 5 Low Income Public Housing properties throughout DeKalb County as well as 2 project based housing sites located in Hinckley & Shabbona and 2 Shelter Plus Care sites in DeKalb. Additionally, the Authority assists over 600 families with their rental assistance through the Housing Choice Voucher Program more commonly known as the Section 8 Program.
