The water in each of Float Valley’s float tanks contains an incredible 900 pounds of magnesium-rich Epsom salts (yes, you read that right). This very special water is so heavy that it allows anybody to float effortlessly on top. The float tank is engineered so you experience absolutely no distractions from the world: it is completely light-proof, sound-proof, and has a neutral smell. You can’t feel the water because it is heated to the exact temperature of your skin.
