Unsukay is a group of restaurants in Atlanta comprised of Muss & Turner's- Smyrna, Eleanor's, Local Three Kitchen & Bar, Warhorse Investment and MTH Pizza. Our company purpose is to make people feel good and our community a better place.
Our team is led by partners Ryan Turner, Todd Mussman, and Chris Hall. Turner and "Muss" (as we call him) met while working together at Food Studio, a former restaurant within Fifth Group. One “Manhattan fueled” evening in 2002, the two started talking about opening a restaurant together. After a year or so of kicking around ideas, they decided to build the place they’d want to go to or work for themselves. Muss & Turner's was born as a neighborhood joint with no culinary boundaries and no pretense. It is a deli by day and bistro by night.
In December 2010, Turner and Muss joined forces with Chris Hall, another Smyrnite and while he became a partner in M&T, we launched Local Three Kitchen & Bar in West Buckhead.
Muss & Turner's expanded into the space next door in 2012, and the speakeasy Eleanor's was born. Named for our friend, drinking buddy, de facto Mom, in-house Sage, and the fabric that holds “it” all together for us: Eleanor Seale.
Unsukay opened Warhorse Investments, a private eating and drinking club in July of 2017 followed by MTH Pizza, a neighborhood pizzeria in Smyrna, in October of 2019.
All of Unsukay's restaurants have a shared philosophy on food, drink, hospitality and how to do business. That philosophy is straightforward: People Matter Most, Local Is Priority, Seasonal Makes Sense, Authenticity Rules, Quality Governs, Delicious Trumps, Pretense Stinks, Comfort Feels Good, Appreciation Tastes Better, Prudence Sustains It All.
