Ufton is a registered charity established in 2006.
Ufton Adventure takes children and young people into the wild, giving them an unforgettable and life-changing experience. We do this through challenging, inspirational and experiential education, helping to build skills, attitudes and behaviours and transform their life course.
Our trips are run by experienced and compassionate activity leaders who ensure each child connects with the outdoor world, their peers and themselves to improve their wellbeing.
We work with children aged 4-16 with the greatest need from the South East and London. Ufton Adventure provides free residential stays in our purpose-built woodland cabins to over 1,500 children each year.
At Ufton History children and young people explore the historical and environmental world through real, hands-on experiences. Over 15,000 young people visit Ufton Court each year and take part in a wide range of activities. Those studying history have a unique opportunity to live in an Elizabethan House as if it were their own, to explore and discover the house’s secrets and to experience firsthand sixteenth century life.
Environmental activities take children into the extensive grounds and woodlands. The hands on, exciting activities bring children into close contact with the natural world and develop a deeper understanding and appreciation of the countryside.
