The Kansas Municipal Energy Agency (KMEA) is a quasi-municipal corporation formed in 1980 under Kansas law as a nonprofit joint action agency. KMEA is a member-owned, service-driven organization dedicated to providing the expertise and stewardship necessary to secure power in a financially responsible manner for the gas and electric member cities it serves.
