Kansas Municipal Energy Agency (Kmea)

The Kansas Municipal Energy Agency (KMEA) is a quasi-municipal corporation formed in 1980 under Kansas law as a nonprofit joint action agency. KMEA is a member-owned, service-driven organization dedicated to providing the expertise and stewardship necessary to secure power in a financially responsible manner for the gas and electric member cities it serves. KMEA remains steadfast in its ongoing commitment of adding value and helping member cities navigate the rapidly evolving and complex industry.
