Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS) provides an emergency response service to over one million people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our purpose is creating Safer People, Safer Places. Everything we do is with that in mind.

The Service's 20 fire stations are crewed by both Wholetime and On-Call firefighters on a range of duty systems. Alongside our operational crews, we have over 100 staff who work behind-the-scenes in departments such as Workshops, HR, Appliances and Equipment, Corporate Communications, Executive Support, Finance, IT, amongst many more. We also many operational office-based workers in teams such as Fire Protection, Fire Investigation, Operational Planning and more!
