The company Ormsson (originally The Ormsson Brothers) was founded on December 1st 1922 by the brothers Eiríkur and Jón Ormsson and until recently the company was owned by their descendants. The original purpose of the company was the operation of an electrical workshop, but the operation soon developed to import of AEG as early as 1923 and later presenting Fuji Electric in Iceland. The goal for Ormsson Group is to perfect our brands with focus on customer satisfaction and customer experience and to take advantage of synergies within the Group to enable lower prices.
