An Urban Designer and Chartered Landscape Architect with particular expertise in collaborative data-driven public space projects and visual communication such as illustration, graphic design and photography, Jenny Elliott works at the interface of urban design, co-design and the effective visual communication of concepts, projects and ideas to engage and inspire.
I blend visual communication expertise as a Member of the Association of Illustrators, with built environment and sustainable design training as a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute, and cutting-edge PhD research using human-centred systems thinking approaches to understand how as an industry we can practically create greener, healthier streets and future cities, This combination helps me find innovative ways to reimagine our built environment and create impactful visual narratives.
Interested in transforming urban spaces through innovative design, research and collaboration and using visual communication to drive engagement and impact, much of my work involves integrating data-driven, observational and user experience insights about the city to drive positive change through the design, analysis or visualisation of streets and other public spaces. I have instigated, and led numerous creative placemaking projects - using film, photography, visual arts and participation to catalyse change and collaboration, or reimagine overlooked urban places.
