Here + Now

HERE+NOW is a multi award-winning landscape architecture and design studio specialised in co-design. We are landscape architects, urban designers and place-makers. We use iterative, people-centred design processes to explore, deliver and reveal the potential of place through exhibitions, events, and delivered built environment design projects. We balance the needs and aspirations of local people, stakeholders and the client to deliver the most robust, resilient design outcomes. We put people at the heart of place and design. HERE+NOW recently won two Scottish Design Awards 2016 for our work transforming Rodney Street Tunnel, Edinburgh into a vibrant community photography exhibition that brought local people together as a physical prototype of their aspirations for this to become a creative destination and outdoor gallery longer term. We were also thrilled to receive the UK-wide Regional Award for Scotland from the Planning&Placemaking Awards 2016, in recognition of the positive work we have already achieved in our first 18 months.
