Cranborne Chase National Landscape covers 380 square miles of countryside overlapping Wiltshire, Dorset, Somerset and Hampshire. It is here to conserve and enhance the natural beauty of the area, now and for future generations. Cranborne Chase is a diverse landscape offering areas of rolling chalk grassland, ancient woodlands, chalk escarpments, downland hillsides and chalk river valleys each with a distinct and recognisable character. The AONB is home to the Chase and Chalke Landscape Partnership, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, and is a designated International Dark Sky Reserve.
