Sexual Health Victoria (formerly Family Planning Victoria) is a leading, not for profit, statewide provider of sexual and reproductive health care, education and advocacy. Governed by a voluntary board of directors, we have been providing comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services in Victoria for 50 years.
We provide a range of services which are accessible, culturally relevant and responsive to the needs of the diverse Victorian community. These services include clinical care, education and training to help build the capacity of educators and health care professionals working in the sexual and reproductive health sector.
FPV's focus is sexual and reproductive health care, education and advocacy. Our vision is sexual and reproductive health for all Victorians and our mission is to provide leadership in public policy, education and clinical care.
-We are an independent, not-for-profit, pro-choice organisation responsible to a voluntary Board of Directors.
-We have been providing services to the Victorian community for 50 years.
-We are partially funded by the Victorian Government.
-We also generate our own revenue through fee-based education and training programs and the sale of resources. These funds are used to improve our services.
-We are associated with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF).
-We value partnerships with organisations committed to the sexual and reproductive health of Victorians.
