The Institute of Medical Virology (IMV) is part of the medical faculty of the University of Zurich. Our institute comprises diagnostic and research laboratories and educates students of medicine and biology. Research: More information can be found here: www.virology.uzh.ch/research_en.html Teaching: We offer courses in virology to students of medicine and biological sciences at the University of Zurich and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. Diagnostics: Our diagnostics department offers a wide range of diagnostic tests for clinically relevant human viruses. In addition our institute hosts the Swiss National Center of Retrovirology.
